Lalitha® Yoga Classes

Lalitha Yoga is an authentic practice.  A complete path, it creates an experience of wholeness in the individual and the collective.  It is not just a physical practice but a process of cellular transmutation from gross to subtle to divine; body, mind and spirit integrate.  Lalitha Yoga, a comprehensive self-healing system, creates wholeness in body and mind.

The natural approach to health and well being, Lalitha Yoga is condensed into five yogic principles:   proper exercise (asana), proper relaxation (guided meditation), proper breathing (pranayama), healthy diet (plant based nutrition) and positive thinking (meditation).

It manages stress, maintains a youthful appearance, promotes health and well being, enhances intuition and creativity, increases intelligence and evolves.  Whole Self Integration allows the head, heart and hands to work together.  This wholeness is the highest healing.

Practices are sensitively and intuitively designed to meet the needs of the moment.  They support and empower.  An individualized approach, practitioners become joyful and natural, experiencing the fullness and beauty of life.

Lalitha® Yoga Therapy

Prescription for Health

Yoga Therapy promotes health, immunity and longevity.  It is a self-empowering process, where the care-seeker, with the help of the Yoga Therapist, implements a personalized and evolving yoga practice, that not only addresses the illness in a multi-dimensional mannerbut also aims to eliminate suffering in a progressive, non invasive and complimentary manner.

Depending on the nature of the illness, Yoga Therapy can not only be preventative and curative but also a means to manage the illness or facilitate healing in an individual at all levels.

Yoga Therapy does not change anything.  It simply restores the original connections between body, breath and mind.

Lalitha® Yoga and Ayurveda

Prescription for Health

Ayurveda, the Science of Life, is the ancient mind body medicine of India.  Ayurveda recognizes three life forces in the body called vata, pitta and kapha – the basis for health or disease.

Yoga and Ayurveda reflects the true healing potential of yoga.   It forms a complete system of well-being that remains relevant for all people, all cultures and all time and can be adjusted to our modern life circumstances with many benefits for everyone.   Yoga and Ayurveda promotes positive health through yoga asanas, breath and mantra.

In a Yoga and Ayurveda session for the physical body, Margaret sequences yoga asanas to treat doshic imbalances, rebalancing them and sustaining them as forces of health and vitality.  These yoga asanas promote positive health.  They balance and prepare body and mind for pranayama and meditation.

Yoga and Ayurveda for the mind offers the healing of consciousness.   In a Yoga and Ayurveda session for the mind, Margaret offers pranayama (breathing) and mantra (prayer).

In Yoga and Ayurveda, these practices  –  asana, breath and mantra  –  integrate body, breath and mind to lead you towards your highest potential.
